The EMS Physician lecture series, organized and hosted by the South Orange Rescue Squad and taught by the RWJ Newark Beth Israel Medical Center EMS Physician Fellows, is a lecture series that is held once a month to refresh the EMS providers skills, as well as expand on them to include pertinent knowledge that is not generally taught at an Emergency Medical Technician level. Such topics may be, but are not limited to: anatomy and physiology, the pathophysiology of disease, and treatment of the disease as an Emergency Medical Technician.
