The South Orange Rescue Squad is thrilled to be an Official Charity Partner in the 2024 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon!

As a charity partner we have received 5 guaranteed entry spots for the race taking place on Sunday, March 17, 2024.

Join the South Orange Rescue Squad team to Run 13.1 miles with us on March 17th and help us continue to provide free Emergency Medical Services to the community!

As a member of the team, the benefits you receive include:

Fundraising Commitments and Goals
Guaranteed Entry Spots into the 2024 United Airlines New York City Half Marathon through SORS are limited!

You must make an initial $100 fundraising gift with your credit card when accepted. This $100 gift will count towards your fundraising.

A minimum of $1,250 must be raised by Sunday, March 17, 2024.
If $1,250 is not raised by Sunday, March 17, 2024, the balance will be charged to your credit card.

You are also responsible for paying the NYRR Race Registration fee: $130 for NYRR members / $145 for non-members

By submitting an application to run the 2024 United Airlines New York City Half Marathon for Team SORS as a Guaranteed Entry Charity Runner, you are committing to fulfill the fundraising requirement, and all the deadlines associated.

If you do not reach the deadlines, NAMI-NYC is authorized to charge your credit card based on the following:

Cancellation Policy: You are responsible for raising the $1,250 minimum by the deadline. All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you choose to cancel your registration after you have registered, you will be required to pay the $75 replacement fee so the Rescue Squad can give your bib to another runner.

Have Your Own Entry for the 2024 United Airlines New York City Half Marathon?

If you have your own entry into the 2024 United Airlines New York City Half Marathon, and would like to raise funds for Team South Orange Rescue (and are not seeking Guaranteed Entry into the race), you can still join the team! Please make that selection on the application form. We ask that you fundraise $500, but you can set your goal even higher! You are not held to a fundraising commitment if you have your own entry.

All applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
