The Basic Life Support CPR course trains participants to give CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. This course is for medical providers such as EMTs and nurses, and for people who work in medical facilities who are required to have a CPR certification. This course concludes with a 25 question written exam which participants must pass with an 80% or higher. This course reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
