[05/28/2024 @ 6:30pm] Abdominal and Obstetrical Emergencies [2 CEUs]

The Abdominal and Obstetrical Emergencies class is a lecture taught by EMS Physicians and is worth 2 NJ State CEUs. The content of this lecture is aimed at expanding the knowledge of an EMT, past that of what is taught in an EMT initial program, while still remaining relevant to an EMT and their scope. Subjects discussed are the anatomy and physiology of the Gastrointestinal and Reproductive systems, pathophysiology of GI and reproductive disease, and how to treat gastrointestinal and reproductive emergencies.
